Does Tartoer roast its own coffee?
Yes. Tartoer roasts all of its coffee in-house at our own micro-roastery in Antwerp. We roast single-origin specialty coffees in small batches — light roasts that highlight the character of each origin. You can taste them in our coffee bars or order them in our online shop.
Does Tartoer have vegan options?
Absolutely — most of our menu is vegetarian or vegan. Our in-house bakery makes vegan and vegetarian pastry daily, and our food menu includes vegan soup, vegan croques, vegan tuna and vegan martino flatbreads. Plant-based milks (oat, soy, almond, coconut) are available free of charge.
Is plant-based milk extra?
No — almond, coconut, soy and oat milk are free at Tartoer. Oat milk is our standard recommendation with milk coffees.
Where are the Tartoer coffee bars?
Tartoer has two coffee bars in Antwerp. Korte Koepoortstraat 2 (city centre, near the Meir and Grote Markt) is open every day from 9:30 to 18:00. Ossenmarkt 23 (university quarter) is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00 and weekends from 10:00 to 17:00. In summer we also run our Zomerbar at the Stuivenberg site, home of our micro-roastery.
Can I buy Tartoer coffee beans?
Yes — freshly roasted beans are available in both coffee bars and in our online shop, as whole bean or ground for filter or espresso.
Does Tartoer do wholesale?
Yes. We supply freshly roasted specialty coffee to cafés, restaurants and offices. See our wholesale page or email hello@tartoer.be.
Can I rent the Tartoer foodtruck?
Yes — our design foodtruck Tartoer & Taart is available for corporate and private events, serving specialty coffee and homemade pastry on location. Email hello@tartoer.be for availability and packages.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We always have gluten-free pastry available, such as our gluten-free banana cake. Ask for our allergen list at the bar — the composition of products may change.
